       b. Spread the news!

As there are thousands of IT-job vacancies anywhere, we need you as an ambassador to spread the news. Do you know an instructor that could possibly teach IT via the NetAcad Program? Please share this invite with your colleagues and peers in your network, at your own school or at any other educational institute.

  • And keep in mind: there is a broad courses portfolio to offer to be adopted on any educational level (intro and advanced), starting from Secondary School to University level.

Our goal

The goal of this instructor training is that you can start teaching right away after obtaining the accreditation status (if required). It is important however, to make sure that you understand the aims and results of the training as instructor training is different from student training:

·       Instructor training is preparation for a teacher to start teaching a specific Networking Academy or Skills for All course. The main part of the training consists of briefings, demonstrations, and didactic tips. Self-study and personal work are required outside the online sessions.

·       At the end of the trainings for accreditation there is a formal part consisting of a final exam (conceptual) and a skills exam (practical). A participant who passes the exams will earn the accreditation to teach the course. For this second part a proctor level instructor trainer will be involved.

·       ‘Registering’ for the training, means ‘participating’. In case you can’t attend the training, let us know. No show without notification, does not align with our policies. After you have registered, please make sure to make a reservation in your own calendar yourself.

Please pay attention filling out the registration sheet:

  •  Use only your NetAcad address (for Webex, accreditation, and communication purposes).
  • Or if you’re new, use your educational email address (no Hotmail or Gmail address).
  •  Make sure you meet the prerequisites before starting the training.
  • Only choose one course maximum per timeframe.
  • Choose the right course language (English, Dutch or French).
